Our store on Cherry Hinton Road also boasts a wine bar that can accommodate up to 25 guests. The wine bar is BYOF (Bring Your Own Food), except on days when a food truck is available outside. Newmarket Races

Newmarket boasts two racecourses - the Rowley Mile and the July Course - home to some of the finest Flat racing events. It is an exceptional place with a rich and royal history, where thoroughbred racehorses are considered royalty. Newmarket is the birthplace of horseracing, the "sport of kings"; it was born some three and a half centuries ago, and from where it was exported around the world.

The Round Church

The round part of the church was built in about 1130 by the 'fraternity of the Holy Sepulchre. They were evidently influenced by the round church in Jerusalem called the Church of the Holy Sepulchre built by the Roman Emperor Constantine in the 4th ct. Since they were Normans, recently arrived from France in 1066, they used the Norman or Romanesque style: hence the thick pillars and rounded arches.
