What data we collect

The only data we collect is (when a reservation or an enquiry is made) these are telephone numbers of the person making the reservation and names and addresses of guests staying. We also hold debit or credit card details to take a deposit equal to the first night of your stay after checkout card details are destroyed.

Information we collect about you

We may use your address as part of processing your payment to validate the credit card. We may also use your email address to send you confirmation of the booking and details on how to find us and other information you may find useful for your stay. 

After your stay we may also send you an additional email checking that everything was ok with your stay and offering you ways to stay in contact by means of social media or email if you consent to do so.

We will not use your telephone numbers to contact you unless it is an emergency, and/or we have been unable to contact you by social media or email.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Record keeping.
  • Improve our services.
  • Send special offers or other information using the email address provided. 
  • We may try to contact you firstly by phone and email should you leave items behind.

We have security cameras around the outside of the property. Covering the drive, car par and the main entrance. We use these cameras to aid our security of our property and our guest’s property.

The data is recorded securely and stored for 30 days after which it overwrites itself.

The only people who have access to this data are the proprietors. The data is password protected and the password is memorized by the owners and not written down.
